First Step Engagement is designed to help people who are out of work and living in the Calderdale, Leeds or Wakefield area, and are not yet ready to go straight into employment or placement. It is aimed at those who need some additional guidance to help them move closer to finding work.

The First Step Engagement programme helps by preparing you with work skills and with a step by step programme for returning to work Our consultants will assist you with confidence building, developing an action plan, interview and application advice and guidance as well as providing access to other back-to-work programmes.
