Exploring Enterprise

The Exploring Enterprise programme aims to raise awareness of enterprise, explore the opportunities it offers to women and to assist them developing their enterprise ideas.
The Concept
The Exploring Enterprise Programme is designed to motivate and mobilise you to confidently and proactively bring your ideas into reality . The concept behind the programme is to equip participants with knowledge, skills and information through a variety of delivery methods. This will empower an individual to develop and nurture a business start up that combines the 'unique' qualities, ideas, cultures and backgrounds of a multicultural base.
Participants
This programme aims to support business start ups in general or support existing businesses to establish and grow, with a strong emphasis on women-owned start ups.
The Aims of the Programme

Innovative Delivery
- Workshops: There will be two groups (one women only, one general group); maximum number of participants is 30.
- Mentoring: Mentoring takes place throughout the Year from March 04 to March 05. These sessions are specifically designed to motivate, inspire, problem solve and to progress all ideas into a state of reality through action planning.
- Specialist Seminars/Events: All participants are exposed to BLWY, Chamber of Commerce and ATL events that will provide opportunities to progress ideas further and to access networks, that will enable you to make contacts and gain information on vital business topics such as marketing, VAT, TAX etc.
- Learn Direct: Learning opportunities are created from a choice of 2000 online courses for all participants who require further education on specific topics that will enable and support them to further their business ideas.
- Toolkit: The A-Z Manual of starting up in Business will be available to all participants on completion of the course.
