The Procurement Gateway is designed exclusively for Regen 2000 enterprises in Bradford. This unique, innovative and intensive programme will give businesses and social enterprises from the area an opportunity to recognise and realise their potential to secure procurement contracts from the public sector.
This project has been designed in conjunction with mainstream Business Link and Regen 2000 services through the Leeds Road Business Shop, acting as a local access point for enterprises seeking training and guidance on public procurement issues.
Our Aims and Objectives
- Moving Up: Moving local enterprises higher up the local supply chain and generating wealth in the REGEN area.
- Level playing: Reviewing the tendering processes with public sector organisations to reduce or eliminate barriers for local enterprises tendering for contracts.
- Support: Promotion of business support for enterprises, particularly in under-represented groups and ethnic minorities.
- Building working communities: ‘Building working communities' through strengthening local business performance, job creation and influencing contract work investment in REGEN based businesses and employees.
- Adding Value: Adding value by helping businesses and social enterprises to increase their wealth, knowledge, growth potential and sustainable competitive advantage.
- Connecting: Establishing a procurement network with public sector organisations.
